Boxcar Park

Boxcar Park is the perfect location to take your dog on a walk, throw a Frisbee or picnic with friends. The new 2-acre regional park is located within the Central District of Waterfront Place at water’s edge. The park features two seasonal kite-style shelters with picnic tables, benches that overlook the waterfront and open space to roam around. The park is a hub of activity in the spring and summer months for a variety of special events from the Port's Sail-in Cinema outdoor movies, waterfront concerts, car shows and more.
Boxcar Park is also home to the historic Weyerhaeuser Building. The building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was recently moved to the park in preparation for future renovation to transform the one-of-a-kind structure into a unique community gathering space.
Please be advised: Kite flying is no longer allowed at Boxcar Park due to repeated instances of interference with power lines in the area.
Commodore Plaza

The Port of Everett's Commodore Plaza is a community open space with grassy areas and hardscapes overlooking the stunning views of the South Marina. The Plaza, which is located within Marina Village to the east of Anthony’s Woodfire Grill, was named in honor of the yachting and naval community here at the Port.
The open layout is designed to accommodate small gatherings and events, and is available to reserve on a first come, first served basis.
Fishermen's Tribute Plaza

The Fishermen’s Tribute Plaza is a special gathering space located in the heart of the Port of Everett’s Marine Craftsman District. In 2011, the Fishermen's Tribute Committee, in partnership with the Port, installed a statue at the plaza to act as a historical marker and pay homage to Everett’s commercial fishing industry. Bench seating is incorporated into the plaza providing a great spot to eat lunch, rest on your walk or run or meet up with friends.
The Fishermen's Tribute Statue was fabricated by Kevin Pettelle, an artist known for his work on Everett’s Mike Jordan statue and Seattle’s J.P. Patches statue.
Jetty Landing Park

Looking for a place to picnic, cast your line or relax before beginning a fun day on the waterfront? Jetty Landing Park is the place to be. The park is located just south of the Port of Everett Boat Launch and offers picnic shelters and tables with amazing waterfront views and access to the North Marina Fishing Pier.
In summer 2023, a new ship-themed children's playset was added to the park in honor of the historic Equator. The playset, which offers ADA accessible features, includes slides, deck-to-deck climbers, a porthole panel, a nautical bow, a stern climber, a pipe wall and a tower. Pacific octopus and baby orca whale climbers will be added in the fall.
During Jetty Island Days (July 5 thru Labor Day), Jetty Landing Park becomes a hub for Jetty Island goers as they await a ferry ride over to the island. Ample parking is available on-site with the first two hours free, after that, posted parking rates apply.
Pacific Rim Plaza & Splash Fountain

The Port of Everett’s Pacific Rim Plaza is a new public gathering space representing the central hub of Fisherman’s Harbor – the first development district within the Port’s 65-acre mixed-use Waterfront Place Central development. The plaza is open to all and offers picturesque views of the Marina, including the new Seiner Wharf lined with Everett’s commercial fishing fleet. Other key features include a new 36-jet splash fountain, a timber-decked over-water viewing platform, benches, and access to the nearby public dock walk at Guest Dock 5 and site esplanade.
A TRIBUTE TO TRADE
Incorporated into the Plaza is a tribute to the Port’s century-long tie to international trade. Flag poles welcome visitors to the Plaza flying flags of the Port’s key trading partners. Interpretive signage including information on each trading county and a lighted globe feature illuminating the grounds in the night sky depicting the trade routes to and from our trading ports. The flags symbolize the importance and long history of international commerce in Everett.
South Marina Navy Park

Nestled at the fence line between at the Port of Everett’s South Marina Village and Naval Station Everett, you will find a quaint grassy park space with benches. This is the perfect area to picnic and offers a great place to take a pit stop during your waterfront walk or run.
